RE:Massey mens' food!

Joe
Thanks for the birthday wishes. It wasn't really my birthday (That was six mouths ago ) but we thought we would have a Massey Cake anyway.

John
Why don't you take your kitchenalia up to Malcolm's. We will bring Bob along and he can cook us a meal on Malcolm's M-H Stove and serve it onto you M-H and Ferguson plates etc. I'll bring a cake

Alan

RE:Massey mens' food!

Let's not forget the need for liquid refreshment to go along with the Massey Men's Food.  Here are two MF hip flasks for a drop of the hard stuff as perhaps required on those cold days with the Ski Whizz gang!  Personally I prefer some dark rum in them!

RE:Massey mens' food!

Of course after having some Massey Men's food you need to wash it down with a mug of tea or coffee.  There are many such mugs - here are a selection of four.  A vital part of your kitchenalia utensils.

Shown are an MF Industrials mug, Ferguson TE 20 50th anniversary mug, Ferguson Brown 75th anniversary and Massey 150th anniversary mug.  All mugs to set the memory ticking whilst sipping away

RE:Massey mens' food!

Well, the reply button is missing again from these recent posts...   So I went back a couple of pages and hit one from an older post.  Interestingly enough, by doing that, I didn't have to sign in again?!?   Who knows...

Anyway, I needed to comment on John's hip flasks.  I NEED one of those MF flasks!!!  Of course, my contents would be that golden nectar from the state of Kentucky:  Maker's Mark Bourbon!!!

Anybody have one of those for sale??

Thanks,

JB

RE:Massey mens' food!

Best I can bring to the dinner table is a salt and pepper set!!  It is a nice set I was able to purchase at Hugheville along with my porcelain sign with its original receipt!! ($12.50)
BTW I was able to buy some of the Babbitt stationary the other day as well!!  Nice group of items from one dealer in New York.

RE:Massey mens' food!

Of course many of you (hopefully!) will not be drinkers of the hard stuff but beer or lager drinkers.  Nothing like a long drink after a good Massey meal (why are the Massey banquets dry???).  Anyway here are two beer mugs - one MF and the other a pot Hanomag mug.  MF bought Hanomag in 1974.  Hanomag made heavy industrial and construction equipment.  This acquisition gave them an increase of 170% in theri manufacturing floor space for this type of equipment.  Specifically at the time of the acquisition it gave MF a rubber tyred dozer, small wheel dozer and three large compactors.  With time this range was expanded to include large bulldozers and excavators.

Standards heve to be kept up when Massey men are dining.  Here is a Ferguson Brown tea pot or coffe pot stand, and a Massy Ferguson cigarette ash tray.  The ash tray saves you the embarrasement of having to drop your cigarette or cigar ash in the top of your socks!

RE:Massey mens' food!

Here's my last piece of "kitchenalia".  It is an MF pocket bottle opener and cork puller.  Nice piece of kit - saves you damaging your teeth!

There must be some more pieces of "kitchenalia" out there - I think I recall seing MH knives and forks for sale on e bay once.  Grub around folks and see what you have hidden away.

John:

That looks like the perfect weapon for tearing into a bottle of this Massey Harris Pony wine, just need some Green Cheese and crackers.

RE:Massey mens' food!

Here is a tool not used in the kitchen but more in the bedroom or hallway as you put on your shoes. It is a plastic shoe horn, I wonder who was sleeping at the typewriter when they were making these?? Check out the spelling, does anyone else out there have any items with goof ups like this?
