A trip to Manitoba

Well I just got back from a trip to look at a friend's collection in Manitoba. I started the journey Friday with a short trip north to Jims place to look at his new purchases and projects. As we see very often around here it was snowing during my drive with about 3" on the ground by the time I finished the two hour trip to the border. I spent the night at Jims and the plan was to leave in the morning for Manitoba.  We had another 4 1/2 hour drive north west to do which went by quickly with all the fresh new snow to look at and the speculation of what all we are going to see when we get to our destination. We spent 3 hours looking around at all the stuff and Graham's new house before I needed to start the 400 mile trip home. Overall it was a great trip but it sure was nice to get home and see the glow of all the lights in Fargo. Thanks for the tour Graham and we will be back again!

So here are the pictures. First four are still in ND and the rest from MB.

Tom:

Looks like you had a great time!! The Cub jr wide front has some work to be done yet but will be worth it when done. Looks like a great collection of U frames in the shed were they all runners? Also nice looking styled 25s.

RE:A trip to Manitoba

Today it was "A Trip From Manitoba" to England for Graham Catlin, Helen and two of their daughters.
Here is a photo of Graham and Jennifer on the Sawyer Massey 20-40 which came from their area of Manitoba.
We had two hours of Massey talk this afternoon and expect Graham will be back on his own in the next few days for some more in depth discussiom.

So is this the way Graham escapes the cold!?!??  He goes back to the UK??  LOL!!
Hope he has a great time showing his daughters around the beautiful country and visits friends.

RE:A trip to Manitoba

Graham and his family trip to England is fastly coming to an end, I am sure they will be very pleased to leave this wet and damp grey British weather behind and head back to cold, dry, snow and sunny Manitoba.

I know Helen was clicking away with her camera on their first visit here and Graham has been back two Saturdays on his own, we have spent several hours talking and browsing, (something which one can do with a bad back) so I look forward to seeing a few photos posted of their trip, visits and findings whilst here in UK, we look forward to seeing you back on here when you get home Graham.

Have a good and safe flight.

Malcolm.

Hi Graham,

Does this view look familiar?? It is just a couple years older than what you saw recently!!

Not a better view from atop a Foster!!

RE:A trip to Manitoba

On our trip to England we went to see a very nice collection of Massey's in Norfolk.
We are still waiting for Bob to post pictures of his fine collection, so here are a few pictures  to look at until Bob gets it figured out.
