Parts needed!!

Hey folks,

I am not having any luck finding some parts for my MF 1150 and 1100.  In particular, I need:

Fender risers for 1150.  Part number 518805M1 (need 4 of them)
Grab Handles for 1150.   Part number 503355M1  (need 2 of them)

Battery Access Door for 1100.   Part number  512844M91

Does anybody know of any salvage yards that might have tractors of this vintage?

Thanks,

John

RE:Parts needed!!

John,

Call All States Ag Parts they have about 20 1100s and 1150s being salvaged right now. you can go to their website at www.tractorpartsasap.com  .

They have the parts or can get them but the guy I delt with getting parts for my 2745 was about as lazy as they come it took me about 10 phone calls and three months to get my parts. I wrote him a nasty email and told him that A.S.A.P in Minnesota always ment as soon as possible but in Iowa it must meen as slow as possible.... I never got a response back...  They do have anything you will ever need or want just hope you don't get to deal with the lazy guy I got..

RE:Parts needed!!

Thanks Joe,

I talked with them today and gave them my list of MF 1100/1130/1150 needs.  He said he would find out what they have and get back to me.  Hopefully I won't have to call them back several times.

Happy Thanksgiving!

RE:Parts needed!!

Hey Joe (and others),

I never did get a call back from the guy at All States Ag Parts...  Meanwhile, I received a "tip" to contact "TIPS, Inc.", located in Lawrenceburg, TN  931-762-7831, and talk to Joan.

I talked to Joan on the phone on Tuesday afternoon, November 24th.  She called me back Wednesday morning, and had all the parts mentioned above available, plus an adjusting link assembly for the 3-point on my 1130.  Joan told me that some of the parts had to be removed from salvage tractors, so they would need a day or two.  They shipped the parts Friday, the 27th, and they arrived here at the farm on Tuesday, Dec. 1st.  All good parts, and very reasonable prices.

I recommend TIPS, Inc. if you are looking for Massey parts.  Be sure and ask for Joan when you call.

RE:Parts needed!!

Mr. Bush,   I myself have dealt with TIPS and agree they are very good people to work with.  A family company that tries every way to help.  I have worked with Joan , and Tim.    Earlier this week I called All States in Wisconsin,   about some parts for my 101 JR,  the guy I talked with said they would check the yard and get back to me.  And he did call the next day, however I have an account with them from previous purchases.   Another parts yard just this week I have found is Burch Tractors down in North Carolina.  They have several Ponies and Pacers parted out.  Brandon was very helpful.  Hope this helps.    Go Iowa Hawkeyes!!!!!!!!    Tim Pace
