IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE?

Now that the holidays are past us it's time to start pecking at your keyboards and letting everyone know what you've been up to... It has been very quiet on here since last November.

We need more participants on here this year!! Last year there were only about a dozen steady posters on here with John & Malcolm being the biggest contributors, I would like to thank them for there hard work and input "Thank You"  I don't know why we can't get more people to jump in here and post what they have been up to but there are a lot of users out there Lurking, usually 4,000-5,000 per month I just wish some of them would share some of there stories with the rest of us instead of just watching what the few main posters are up to.

I don't know why I am so surprised as with most clubs the rule of thumb is that 10% of the people do 90% of the work and  90%  of the people like to gripe about what the 10% did wrong..... Please don't take this the wrong way as this is my hobby and I love doing anything Massey related it's just that there is only so much time in the day and I do have to go to work once in a while and I would really like some more input of what others around the world are up to.. Please start posting anytime you get a chance!

The Whiz-N-Wisconsin show in Friesland, WI is just around the corner so it's time to get them out and running!!! Nothing else going on this time of year so lets make it a good turnout!!

Here is one I just picked up a couple weeks ago it is one you don't see too often it is a very early model 380

RE:IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE?

Happy New Year to all. Been so cold here in eastern Nbraska that even with the shop thermostat @ 60 degrees and long johns on, about all I can work is 3-4 hours a day. Just taking this time of year to tune tractors up and start restoring a MH #6 for a MH 20 tractor that i hope will be a projec tin 2016

RE:IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE?

WOW!!  I was thinking the same thing!!  definitely quiet on here.  Surely there are some projects being worked on out there!?!?

My job for the winter is managing storage space in the barn!!  Hopefully, there will be a break in February to give us some space to move around a little.

One of the things we want to do (but its been too cold) is build a small shop where my planned horse stalls were to be.  My first plan included making the area a horse display but the space is needed worse for a small shop for tools, welding and woodworking. Hopefully, a restroom will be part of the plan as well.

I also need to hang some signs I have accumulated over the last couple years.  When that is done, I will post some pics.

I have only moved snow once so far this winter but I am sure it won't be the last.  Had some ice last night but no big event!

So what is everyone else doing to pass the cold winter months!?!?

RE:IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE?

Happy New Year from down under.  It is a nice mild summer here so far. Definitely no long Johns here. Finally we have had rain to slow down a huge drought. Very sad for many out west. What do you do when you need more shed space to store your Masseys and your neighbour has a free shed?  You shift it over the fence to your place.  I can now move the trucks and trailers out of the Massey shed and move all the Massey machinery into the collection shed.  For the first time, the Wallis can come inside and join the 21 tractors, 6 engines, trolleys, milking machines which are all now in one place.  I hope you enjoy the picture on how we shift sheds down under.  Hopefully we will have an interesting year on the forums.  An automatic payment went through on my PayPal, so I assume that it was received at your end. Now that it's nice weather down here, I need to complete painting the 30k, 44k and the new 744.

RE:IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE?

Hi Buck!!

Loos like things are "moving" down under.  Definitely a different way to use a neighbors barn.  I will need to check with my neighbor to see if they are up for that transfer!!  Seems like you can never have enough space.  I have added on three times so now it is time to sell instead of adding on!!

Show us some pic of your projects as the progress!!

And yes I received your PayPal so you are good for another year!!  (That is a pretty slick way of paying your dues.  You don't have to think about it!!  It just happens.  I wish about 800 would do it that way.  It would make life so much easier for us all!!

Good luck on your projects!!

Gary
