RE:MCA Spring Meeting

Bill,

We await and expect a full and detailed report with pictures of proof, you know a picture says a 1000 words and sometimes the camera can distort the truth!!!

Hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy the food, too early for fresh strawberries and cream, so hope Charlie has come up with a special dish of something.

Malcolm.

RE:MCA Spring Meeting

Definitely an intellectual group pictured!!  Thanks Bill!!  Hopefully, we will have some more exciting pics today!!

RE:MCA Spring Meeting

We are anxiously waiting for the photographs of the event Gary, hope someone had a camera at hand.

From Bob's comments in another thread it sounds like you had some interesting speakers on Saturday, so hopefully someone has some photographs of the weekends activities.

Malcolm.

RE:MCA Spring Meeting

Thanks to the Missouri Massey Collectors for hosting a terrific Spring Meeting last weekend. The event will be foundly remembered for a long time.

RE:MCA Spring Meeting

You are very correct, Malcolm.  There were some excellent seminars offered up by our members.

Roger Goodrich, MN did an excellent presentation about his Massey Harris Bicycle Collection with some beautiful pictures.  I encouraged he and Peggy to start a thread on the web site for all to share.  I would think that topic would, again, bring more information to the world about MH bikes than anywhere else anyone could find!!

The second one was Joe and JoJo, MN championing the web site.  They showed what was on the site, how to move around within the site and I helped individuals get logged in and set up to participate.  Hopefully, some will be regulars in the near future.

John Bush, IN shared his wealth of knowledge on the new diesel engine requirements. (It was all Greek to me) but he did an excellent job bringinga  technical subject to an understandable language we could relate to!!

Finally, Rich Onesti, WI provided entertainment and information about tips on restoration procedures and ideas that would help anyone wanting to restore a tractor or implement.

All of these were great and really helped the membership better understand and learn about things they probably never had the opportunity to hear about before.

Congratulations to all of them.  They did a fabulous job.

Hopefully, Joe, Bill Parrish or some of our other members got some pics they can post for everyone to enjoy.

RE:MCA Spring Meeting

Jo started to post some pictures in the Gallery the other night but something jammed or was not working and she was too tired to deal with it. Hopefully she will try again soon to get them posted.

But for now here is a picture of a very wonderfull meal that was enjoyed by all who attended the meeting.

RE:MCA Spring Meeting

Thanks Joe,

Some great "Massey Fodder" on the table, looks like someone from MO did their homework in finding a very good venue, good to see everyone enjoying themselves, curious as to what your desert was???

So it is not just us that have difficulty with the website, sorry to hear of Jo's frustration which I hope she overcomes with time and patience.

Malcolm.

RE:MCA Spring Meeting

Check out the photo's in the "Gallery" section, it looks like Jo has managed to work the bugs out of the system and get the evidence of the weekend on here for us all to see what you was up to in MO, some very happy smiling faces, also great to see one of the early S&S Massey quilts out on display again, I bet Dick was looking down and smiling on you all.

Malcolm.

RE:MCA Spring Meeting

Some great pics from our own Joe & JoJo in the Gallery!!  Thanks!!

As for the delicious dessert, we did not have strawberries and clotted cream but we did have some great cupcakes.  It was somewhat interesting in they were made inside some simple paper squares folded into a cup.  The roast beef was tender and the chicken was very good.  Another feast for the Massey fans.

Good meeting, great reunion.
