Seen working hard on the sawmill at the Ilderton show in July was this Sawyer Massey steam engine, a localy owned engine from the Searson family a well known name in the Sawyer Massey circles of Ontario.
Also a photograph of the remains of a Sawyer Massey steam engine water wagon seen at the Milton Museum, the original black lettering was just visible on each end of the tank, I hope they see sense and get it rebuilt to a usable state again, it would be a shame to see this rare item just rot away.
