The good old days?

I bought a new 444 Ski-Whiz in the fall of 1974 and rode it for a few years until I got serious and started riding Polaris.  I had not had the Ski-Whiz out for several years, so I decided it was time.  I got it out and have been riding around.  All I can say is it is hard for me to believe that after riding it I still wanted to ride.  The improvements between 1975 andf now in snowmobiles is way beyond the comparision between a 1975 car and a new car or a 1975 tractor and a new one.  It was a good thing I was young back then!!   My thought for the day.

RE:The good old days?

Do to the quick passing of our snow this winter and the best spring I can remember in years I did not get my total fix of riding my Ski Whizers as much as I wanted to.

The weather here has been unbelievable for the last month, in the 70s and even almost 80 a couple times but never fear I am prepared for this, now when I get the urge to go for a snowmobile ride I got it covered year~round.

RE:The good old days?

Here is a picture of my Ski-Whiz taken in around 1978.  I still have it and it looks the same, but I don't, nor does my son who was sitting in front of me.  The car is a 58 Cadillac that my wife bought at an auction back in the 70's.  It was a great car for cruising.  I still can not believe as bad as a Ski Whiz rides that I fell in love with snowmobiling and still ride.  Sleds have improved even more than cars or farm machinery since the 70's.  I can ride my Polaris 200 miles a day and not be sore.  I used to know my chicropractor pretty well when i rode the Ski Whiz. ( Sorry, I have always been able to post a picture with no problem, now it will not take.  I'll try later.  KK)
