Massey-Harris Literature

Tom

I thought your idea of a Thread on M-H Literature was a good one.

The catalog that the plow pictures come from has very little on the front of it but Malcolm tells me it was published in 1928.

I have scanned the cover with some more pictures of plows. There are another five pages on Sulky and tractor plows plus seven pages on single furrow horse plows and also a page on mouldboards .

If you are interested in them I will put them on here.

RE:Massey-Harris Literature

Looks like a good book Alan, It would be very neat to see the #5 horse plow, and the chain lift Massey plow if those are in there.

Here are a few of my Massey brochures covering my next favorite equipment after plows. I am interested in the galvanized pull type and self propelled combines. After they started painting them My interest really drops off.

So here are my early books on the #20, #21 and #21A. I would love to buy any of the pull type combine brochures, or fold outs.

What some lovely brochures you have of combines. I have parts books on some of the pull types and 21's but no bochures.

Here are some more pages out of that catalog showing horse plows, bottoms (mouldboards) and power lift tractor plows.

This nice brochure will be one of my additions tonight. You don't see a lot of these 202-201 distillate brochures. This book has brought up many discussion based on the 201 distillate and the possible years produced.

And another unusual piece of Massey advertising. I cant really call this a brochure as it is only one sheet folded in half. This is a neat piece of paper along with the letter. I have not seen another but would like to hear if any body else has seen one. This one found me after I bought a box of Massey books at an auction a few months ago for $15 and this happened to be one of the Gems in the bottom.

They are some nice Brochures. I like the Massey 200 series but I don't have one. They look big strong tractors ready for a days work.
