Roger Schnell, Amboy, IL Passes

Roger Schnell, great friend and loving Massey collector, passed away Tuesday after a long battle with cancer.  Roger always had a smile on his face and a soft gentle voice that greeted you each time he met you.  Roger was one of the first members of MCA and loved showing and playing with his “toys”.

Copied below is the local obituary for Roger:

Roger was a resident of Amboy, Illinois at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his wife Sharon.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014, at the church, with the Rev. Jack Briggs, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery in Lee Center.

Another one of our great collectors looking down on us making sure we are all safe.

RE:Roger Schnell, Amboy, IL Passes

Thank you for posting Gary,

Very sorry to hear about Roger and sincere condolences to his family from England.

I met him on one of my first trips across the pond, he was proudly showing his I H C Mogul tractor which had been in his family ownership all it's life, he took the time to share it's history with me and was proud to drive it in the parade, since then we have always enjoyed talking on the occasions when our paths have crossed.

Rest in Peace Roger.

Malcolm.
