Since this is an early 44 there are several differences whencompared with the later tractors. Tom Tague had all the information about the early parts that should be present on my tractor. Tom Has one just 17 numbers older than mine.
These used the 101 style axle housings and fender mounting, brass throttle quadrant, modified 101 SR shifter with aluminum tags for shift pattern, different frame casting, engine bell housing, and I think there is a few other little changes.
Here is some of the casting dates I found on my tractor. First is the engine block, second is the head casting date and last is the transmission.
