RE:New Years Day Start up and Road Run.

HI Malcolm, Happy New Year!!!  Miserable weather !!! HA!! Looks like spring time ! Its seems like a long time since we have seen Green Grass!
Today was supposed to be the warmest day for quite a while. I went to Joe"s today  and picked up an rough 44 . It was -1 to -3 all day. A lot of good days to get a green Pa and 20-30 finished.
Neat old bike !!! Did the bike ride help your back or no??
What are all the treasures on the trailer in the photo of the  bike in the back ground??
 Dennis

Happy New Year Malcolm,
There is a thing called house keeping me busy at the moment although it's much easier now we live in it. I certainly don't miss those damp English winters, when it's 30 below everything keeps nice and dry.

All the best for 2014,
Graham.

Happy New Year Dennis,

I can see you are taking great notice of the detail in the photographs posted, with suffering this bad back for several months now my jobs are taking longer to get done, (more thinking and sitting contemplating time) so what you see is the trailer still partly loaded with items from George Smyth's sale in Ontario plus other implements which came across at the same time, so what you see is a very original horse drawn M-H corn cultivator.

Here are some photographs of it in Ontario after being brought down from Quebec by Steve Miller before we met at the George Smyth auction.

Once cleaned and oiled up this will remain in original condition and will post pictures later.

Malcolm.

Ah, the difference a couple of days can make here in Central Indiana. Contrast the day I unloaded the GP with today looking the same direction from roughly the same spot. It was a balmy -6F (-21C) here this morning for the lane clean-out of the drifts. They are now predicting over one foot of snow here on Sunday, with temperature of -15F (-26C) on Monday. Starting to feel like where Graham lives!!

Malcolm There's A chap in Norfolk called Winston 'The Singing Farmer'. He sings a song called Never Seen a Farmer on a Bike. I will have to send him up to Lincolnshire. Ha! Ha! Lovely pictures by the way. Alan

RE:New Years Day Start up and Road Run.

Bring him up to Lincolnshire when you next visit Alan,

I would enjoy seeing you both ride the Massey Bike around Salmonby singing the song and whistling away, if I get the other bike road worthy then you could do a "Duo on Massey bikes"

Malcolm.,
