RE:MAY 4TH AUCTION

Chris:

I didn't get the Vinyard plow or the two bottom walking plow, I believe they went home with Dennis and Susie Roundy. I don't believe that it was a vinyard plow but rather 10 inch # 28 plow But I could be wrong as I am not a plow expert by any means...

The front wheels on the 33 were not the usual Massey wheels I am used to seeing. I believe they look alot  like the wheels the Amish use on alot of their equipment.

I should have went a bit more on the MH 25 but thats the way it goes....

Joe

RE:MAY 4TH AUCTION

Steel wheels always attract my attention Chris on any age of tractor, when I first saw this sale bill I looked closely at the 33 fronts and pretty sure they are NOT original.
They should be round spokes F&H and very similar to the Pacemaker front steel.

Did the unstyled 25 stay local, I thought it would end up in your shed Joe?? looks like you have more plows to shine up before your plant your corn this year when the snow finally melts

Malcolm.

RE:MAY 4TH AUCTION

The sale was cold even for us Minnesotans! About 45-50 and windy. Made for a long day.
I was bidding on the 25 for my grandpa but stopped before the last bid. The tractor had some issues that needed attention to be nice. The Cooling fan pulleys were modified, belt pulley had a big hole in the rock wood, manifold needed attention, no fan shroud, leaking gas pulled up the paint under sediment bowl, rear tires were pretty old, drawbar was all welded up. I migh be too picky though? It would have been a good tractor to bring home and use like Joe and I were talking!

Also on the 28 plow, I have never seen any literature or advertising showing a vineyard or orchard 28 plow. So I would bet it is just a narrow 28. Still very interesting plow!
