You might well be right on that.  You have jogged my memory and taken me back to our first combine at home - an MH 726 - and I think it may have had something like this on the returns elevator pulley.  The fact that it has only M1 on it might sugesst the start of the new parts numbering system that came in with the MH/Ferguson amalgamation??

Here's a flat pulley marked MH GR 45.   Any suggestions as to what this came off?  Again I picked it up in Canada

This is a common enough type of MH plough spanner.  It is simple - just flat steel.   There are however several variants of it about with different lengths and some  with none or only one of the small holes.  They are only marked MH with no numbers.

Salvation is at hand however for sorting them out.  I saw "Alan the Spanner" this weekend and he is making good progress on getting up his listing of MH spanners made around the world.  But he still needs a lot of help particularly from Australia, France and South Africa.  Please - if you can help him do so - it is a very worthwhile cause to get all the MH spanners around the world listed.    We need more people like Alan to pull together the various aspects of MH history.  Such efforst make for a good winter pass time.

Today it's a bit of cast aluminium instead of cast iron.  This is the celebration seat that was sold at the Paisley Massey Expo this summer now painted up by my good self!  This is the third one the Canadians have issued for the Expos held up there  and they are a lovely souvenir to add to a Massey seat collection.

I think that this piece may be off the end of  an MH seed drill - for holding the cross shaft?

It is maarked MH J651.

Nice little item here which has had a lick of paint at some time.  It's the calibration guage of a seed drill setting device - but which seed drill?

This is a tin grain/feed scoop that I have just had off e bay.  Been after one for many years but they seem to be very thin on the ground and usually cost an arm and a leg.  Anyway in my mind a nice item to have at last.

Here's another spanner I had from up in Canada this summer.  It's an MH P135.

Here's a Sunday morning treat.  I haven't a clue what it is but it's marked  MH GB327.  It has sort of cleats on the back as if it is one half of a slip gear

John I think your wrench (spanner) is a P 315 which was supplied with a lot of different models of plows. Perhaps you could look at your spanner again. If it is P 135 it would be a new one for the list. I have a P 337 which is a Verity wrench which came from Australia which is like yours but not quite the same but which is quite a bit different from a P 337 that was supplied by M-H in North America Alan
