RE:Cast Iron M-H Memorabilia

For the Wallis collectors I am sure the cast iron Bears have to be the number 1 piece to have on your desk in both tractor front emblem form with threaded bottom and the dealer give away flat bottom paperweight, the ones from the Cub Juniors are identifiable with their plain "W"  in Wallis where as the Cub's have scrolls at the bottom of the "W".

Watch out for the brass reproductions of the Cub Junior one, they often appear for sale on a certain well known site.

Another very heavy piece of cast iron is the frame end casting from the "Verity Land Roller"

RE:Cast Iron M-H Memorabilia

I may have messed up. Was at a tractor show and some one had a pressed steel seat with Massey Harris stamped on it. He was asking $150 for it. Offered $100 because that's all I could afford. Didn't bring the seat home.

Better luck next time Steve,

I think you offered a good price too, he will be a long time getting his $150 for it.

Here's a small M-H cog that makes a nice decorative piece if just the lettering is picked out of the rust.  I haven't a clue what machine it is from!!!

Here's a board full of tool boxes - some tin and others wooden.

The two higher tin ones (2nd and 3rd down) are quite rare.  Have only seen one other with the large MH and the second with the distinctly small lettering is the only one I have seen.

John, Your sprocket is from a Massey Harris horse drawn grain binder.

Thanks for the info Keith - I'll tag it!

Today a board of tool box lids - mostly cast iron.  The fourth down and next to bottom are tin.    Pretty if painted up but equally nice I think if just oiled.

Here are three nice items from an M-H seed drill.  They are the left and right hand seed rate regulator levers and the acre meter

RE:Cast Iron M-H Memorabilia

I have not contributed much to this thread recently so here is one piece of decorative cast iron which takes my eye each time I open the door to the implement shed, the stylish raised lettering on the front bolster / fore carriage of the M-H disc harrows.
