RE:Massey signs

Buck,

it will be good to see some photos of the gates.  I have a Sunshine catalogue which shows quite a range of them.  They look lovely when they still have the wire mesh on them.  A small garden gate would go down well here - my wife has a fancy for one!

I see that the hinges and cross piece in the middle of the bigger gates make good money on e bay................

Here's a very neat early MF Triple Triangle sign.  It's about three feet high and is plywood on a wooden frame.  I believe that dealers used to have these to take out to shows and demonstrations

Let's bring Ferguson into the sign camp!  Here's a French Ferguson sign.

Gary, if you want another stab at a 18"x6" sign there is anther one on ebay right now and it is only at $810.00 and there is still three days left... I don't know what I am not seeing but I just can't figure out why these small signs are bringing this kind of money....

There are 2 of this sign on Craig's list in my area for $120 for both. Very rough condition. I can post contact imformation if any one's interested

Here is one of the commonest MH signs that we come across in the UK - nevertheless they bring good money at auctions.  It is tin moutend in a rather crude wooden frame.

RE:Massey signs

Here is a larger MF sign which is hung in the roff of the shed to  get it out of the way?  This would have been on a post outside a dealer's yard and probaly double sided.
I think it is on of the more attractive of these larger signs

Here's another large MF dealer sign I have hung in the roof of the shed.  Again it would be double sided on a high post to attract the customers in.

A pure black and white dealers sign.  Very sober for MF!

First of all Joe - I hope you had a very successful last Ski Whizz event yesterday and that someone gave you a medal for sticking with it over the last ten years.  Just hope someone will take it over.  Happy retirement!!!!!!!!

Today's sign - it is another large MF dealer's sign hung in the roof of my shed.  I think this is my least preferred of the big dealer signs - a bit bland????
