Oil pressure with my 333

I was blading snow the other day and lost oil preassure on my 333. Had 40 lbs of pressure during warm up. I checked the oil level and it was about a quart low, added oil and start tractor again for about 5-10 seconds and still no pressure. Check oil level and new oil is showing about old oil on the dip stick, it didn't mix.
Any suggestions on where to start looking. Rebuilt oil pump and installed new rod and main bearings less then 300 hours on engine.

RE:Oil pressure with my 333

Hi Steve,

I noticed you are having a problem with your oil pressure. I would guess that the key way on the oil pimp drive might be striped.  Have you checked in that area?

Just a guess!

I haven't tore into it yet, the shed has no heat in it, so i'm waiting for a little warmer weather.
I had been thinking maybe the pressure release valve was stuck open ar possibly the spring had broke. I will definetly check the woodruff key on
the pump drive.
Thanks
Steve

If anyone else has any suggestions or ideas let me know so I can check when I have it apart.
