Thanks everyone for the great photographs of this years "Massey Days", what a fantastic line up of M-H tractors, combines and implements. I can see a tremendous amount of work and effort went into putting the show together in a very nice part of Illinois, well done to The Armstrong's and all involved.

It looks like the weather co operated too and hope Steve Miller baked some bread and cakes once he had shelled and ground the corn in true Massey style?

As I was going through the equipment on the hillside at Massey Days at Armstrongs I came across this small wheeled tank with seats.  Can someone tell me what this is?

I've added a couple of photos to my earlier post and have a few here of items I found intersting that Joe and Drew seemed to have missed.
A 44BIWH or propane rice model.
A Clipper 50 combine with a two row cornhead. I figured that in the kind of corn we are able to raise in today's world you would only have to travel about 600 feet to fill the hopper.
A nice original MH 20.
A neat 1/2 scale MH running gear with a Bain flair box.
A MF4900 from the 80s.
And how many of us don't have a daughter or grandaughter that wouldn't love to have an "Easter Pink" MF lawn tractor?

Just to expand on Joer's post about the transplanter. They were used for planting tomato, cabbage, tobacco, sweet potato plants and probably a lot others. They're refered to as setters also.

Thanks, I somehow missed the label explaining the piece.

I tried to look it over real well.  I didn't see any M-H marking on any of the parts except the front wheel.  I thought that was strange.

One more that needs highlighted is the two McConnell Marc 4 wheel drives.  Only from what I heard that weekend, I understand the Massey Ferguson sold this 4-wheel drive line off to McConnell Mark and they produced these tractors for a short time.  This owner thinks that the yellow one is a 1992 and the red one is a 1994 or 1995.

I know this is an old post, but here lately been going through them and finding ones that I think are interesting.

Anyway, these tractors were available with either a 12 speed manual or full powershift transmission, a choice of either a 855 Cummins or a Series 60 Detroit Diesel. These tractors are the same as a Massey Ferguson 5200. When McConnell built these, only the models 1000 and 900 were offered. McConnell was bought out by AGCO in 1995 I believe, so a pretty short production run. Look up Big Tractor Power on youtube if you have a computer, he's got some videos on a MF 5200 and a McConnell Marc 1000 I believe.

While looking at some of the pictures from Massey Days 2013, I thought the 303 Work Bull was interesting. I have heard MHF built industrial tractors but have never seen one. Looks to be based off of a 444 Massey. Also thought the 44 LP w/2 row mounted picker was an interesting machine as well.
