RE:MH 200 Series Registry

Hi John,

Thanks for your concern.  As far as I know, we do not have an issue with publishing the information.  I do know we must get permission to publish pictures of youth but that is about it.

As of today, it should not be too hard to get anything we need from participants since we only have 89 tractors from 29 individuals.  We do explain what the intentions are for the listing and give everyone the option to list them without using their name.

My only job is to get the list in a readable format for the end user.  If our publishing venues need additional information we can go back and retrieve it from the participants.

It is a good point to ponder on these colder winter evenings!!

Thanks again.

Gary

RE:MH 200 Series Registry

If the tractor numbers are supplied by the owner there is no privacy issues involved. Also if the numbers are secured through public knowledge as with auction sales or personal observation at a public event there is no privacy infringement as long as the owner's name is not supplied without their permission. There you have it. That's as formal as my entry's will ever be , so don't expect this in the future

RE:MH 200 Series Registry

Hi Gary, you seem to be the guru of the 200 series. I have only just got mine free and running like a beauty.  Currently driving it around ready for a total restoration.  I think I have the original seat, but when the tractor was cut up as a crane, the original seat spring has been lost.  Do you have, or any of the readers have any pictures of the 203 seat and spring.  The whole back picture would be great.  Thanks....Buck.

RE:MH 200 Series Registry

Hi Buck!

Glad to hear the 203 is running and ready for some new clothes.

Unfortunately, I was just the "go to" guy to get a spreadsheet into a workable useful document and to try and get the information into the hands of owners.

I really don't know much about the 200's at all.  I don't even own one!!!  So hopefully, someone will respond with some pictures and some resources for you!!  I know they know and I know they are out there!

I am sure they can get you some pics!!

RE:MH 200 Series Registry

Thanks Malcolm, that's great, I think I have one of those in stock, do you happen to have one of the drawn bar brackets as well?  Regards. Buck

RE:MH 200 Series Registry

Seen out for the first time at the recent Malvern start of the season indoor tractor show was this UK 203, recently fully restored with a later Perkins engine fitted, it looks like it has been a threshing tractor in it's working life with the winch fiited to the PTO.

Just wondered if you have this one on your list of survivor's?

RE:MH 200 Series Registry

If anyone has a spare 303 engine (gas or distillate) for a 203 or a good complete engine manifold for the same tractor there is a M-H collector looking for one here in England, it's about a year since I last posted the request for a manifold, with no responses I presume they are as scarce in North Americas as here in UK?

RE:MH 200 Series Registry

Malcolm,

Thanks for the additional 203 for the registry!!  We did not have that tractor!!

RE:MH 200 Series Registry

Here is another very original 203 seen recently at the Eastern Counties Spring Tractor show at Norwich.

A very nice otiginal decal on the tank, so I presume it's working life was in Australia before travelling around the world to England. No serial number plate and hard to read the number in the casting.
