Massey 65 front axle pivot problem
I have a 1959 65 Massey row crop with the rear pivot pin of the front axle worn. It was bad enough that it went through the bushing and elongated the hole in the cast axle mount. I have looked at lots of used units in salvage yards and have yet to find one that is much better. Has anyone had any experience with repairing these cast pieces? Can they be welded and re-machined or sleeved without compromising its strength? As a new member, any help would be appreciated.
