Here's another delicate little tea spoon to grace your Massey table.  It's by Massey Harris but I am not sure when it was issued or for what occasion.  Any clues please?

To round off your Massey meal as you sit round your Massey stove keeping warm, what could be better than a chocolate sweet?  Here is a box of MF chocolates I have just had in.  Believe it or not but each individual tablet that you see in there is a chocolate sweet which doesn't even need unwrapping!

My problem now is do I keep the box full or empty for posterity?  How does chocolate keep over the years (and there are no mice in my memorabilia shed!)  Would it draw my two grandsons more into tractor mania if I let them have one each every time they visit??

John F., My experience with most chocolate sweets is that they should be consumed entirely at the earliest convenience! :-) Question about your box of Chocolates - are those photos/logos imprinted directly on the chocolate sweets, or are those paper covers over the chocolate candies?? This would probably have a large influence on how you approach this. ;-)

The logos/photos are printed on the individual chocolates.  As you can seen there is a selection of small tablets and a large one - two layers of them in fact.  I think that they were specially prepared for the recent opening of the new AGCO/MF Beauvais plant but I am not absolutely sure on this.  One thing for sure they have a delightfully fresh aroma that would penetrate any frost!

I have not so far located an MF 50th anniversary hip flask for you, but here is another one I have.  I don't know if this was issued for any special occasion or not but I do seem to remember some MF propaganda period about "Classy Masseys" - maybe in the 80s????  Anyway this would hold your liquid fuels just as well!!

The plate with the MH 744D tractor on it - this tractor used to be mine until I sold it to the late John Caldwell in Scotland.  As far as I am aware it is still with the family.  I think he gave the permission for it to be reproduced on the plates.

I was just looking at the plates from the 150th that Malcolm posted on the 8th.  I find myself wishing I had gotten that middle one from Ilderton featuring the original 4WD GP and one of the MF 4000 series 4WD tractors - especially since I now have one of each of those out in the barn.  Back in 1997 I would never have envisioned that happening!?!
