RE:Massey mens' food!

As I understand the problem, it is related to the Microsoft SQL Server.  That issue is bigger than MCA, Kentico or Brenden.  We recently switched from the GoDaddy host to another host site and that fixed several of our problems.

One temporary solution would be to not use the same "reply buttton" once they disappear. (Don't go to the first one that appears on the list).

The second, wiser solution might be to create more finite threads for some of our discussions.  Maybe instead of "Memorabilia" it might be "Signs" or "Mugs" or "Plates" or "Calendars"  I think the Food thread got started as Jersey Cream!!!   It has taken on a whole new life after strawberries!!!

The same can be said about "Wallis Tractors"  That is a huge topic.  That could be easily broken down to "Wallis manifolds" or "Wallis steel wheels" or "Wallis binder hitches" or "Wallis starter buttons"

Make the first word the general topic then follow with a specific word.

You might ask why do other sites not have this problem?  I have never seen another site that posts as many pictures as the MCA site. (of course my experience is limited but...) That is a nice problem to have.  If you look at "TYMag.com" they have thousands of posts but there only about 10-20 posts per thread.  I did see one site recently with over 61 pages of posts on a single thread but not more than 10 pictures were attached to posts!! So we are somewhat unique in how we are using the web site.

Just keep up the great work, keep sharing and we will all learn from the experience!!

We will continue to search for answers!!

Thanks

GTE

RE:Massey mens' food!

As we look forward to getting winter behind us soon and dream of the summer sunshine we start to think about the fruit crops of 2014 and look forward to the strawberries and local Jersey cream in abundence for the Opening Ceremony of the Massey Expo at Rushville.

In the meantime to keep us going here is another mug from a great Massey Expo in 2002, Hughsville PA and Friends of Massey put on a great display and an Expo which still rates high on my list of featured shows.

Used last weekend to keep the visitor from Manitoba fueled with coffee, he is feeling the cold of our usual; damp cold English winters, he has got so used to the dry snow and sunshine in Manitoba.

RE:Massey mens' food!

I really like that one Malcolm!  Although I doubt there has been much actual eating off of that plate...  ;-)

RE:Massey mens' food!

Well it's Easter weekend folks so Happy Easter to you all and I hope you get some good food down.

Are chocolate Easter Eggs a big thing over there?   Personally I like the really big ones so that you can crack a good slab of chocolate out of them.  Gary - are you like me and drizzle some cream over it - I know you can't get Jersey cream there but that's what we use because it's thick enough to scoop up with the slab of chocolate.  Very good for getting you into the right mood for spring which is now well upon us over here, but we hear you had a big dump of snow last night in some parts.

Are some of you planning to have a big start up overe Easter?  I have a massive shed reorganisation planned with my son over for the weekend so the tanks are primed with plenty of petrol and radiators filled ready for the shunt around.

Well, it isn't Jersey cream, but it is Memorial Day watermelon.  I think my little buddy likes it!  At least he has the right shirt on.
