Hi Malcolm,
Yeap it it was a good crop and good fun making it too - I think we had 15 people in the field at one point with plenty of cheese and cider to keep us going. Somerset style... 😁
Yes I am definately on the look out for some older machinery for next year - it would be fantastic to get a land driven tedder for the Pacemaker - I wasn't aware of the 'Dickie' but having had a quick look YouTube that looks a fascinating bit of kit. Let me know if you come across one!!
Yes thats the baler - we borrowed it from a chap in the village, and despite being parked for 4 years it started firing out bales straight away. Other than a few shear bolts it was fantastic and didn't drop many bales at all. We are in negotiations on the baler at the moment as he wants to sell it.
Im steadily pressing on with the Pacemaker, it's all going back together nicely now - once the Carburetor is back it won't be long until I try and fire it up again. Will film that!
Cheers 4now, Jon.
