Since before I was born our local Implement dealer "Lodermeir Implement" has been an Allis Chalmers Dealer then for a while it was Deutz Allis then became Agco and for years when ever I needed something there I got guff how I should get rid of my Massey stuff and get an Allis. Well the tune has changed now and Lodermeir Implement is now a Massey Ferguson dealer. They moved from down town to a mile out of town to where they owned a lot for many years. They built a brand new state of the art building and had the Grand Opening last Friday. Since my brother is turning 50 next month he wanted to get himself a new Toy for his birthday. He has always wanted a new tractor so he thought it would be nice to get the 1st tractor sold in their new building that way he could have bragging rights in years to come and will remember his 50th B-day present.
Here is a picture of the 1st Allis WD they sold years ago next to the new Massey, my brother Dan's new toy. Also some pictures from the Grand Opening last Friday. They are already expecting him to bring it back in 30 years for their 100th year in business, He better take good care of it!
