MF 285

I know this site is a lot about antique Masseys but this 285 is getting close to antique.
We have had this tractor since it was new and over the last few years we have had problems with it over heating. It is to a point now where in less than a 1/2 hr it is hot. We have replaced the radiator, hoses, water pump, and thermostat. It still over heats. I have flushed the cooling system out and still no luck. We have in in our shop and took the head off because the dealer told us they had a lot of head gasket problems with that engine. I don't see any obvious head gasket leaks but it is kind of hard to tell. I was hoping to find a definate leak. I understand there is new head bolts and nuts that allow you to tourque the bolts tighter but at a cost of $500.00. Before I did this I was wondering if any of you had a problem with this and what you did. I just don't feel like I have found the problem and am looking for help.
