Massey Harris Pony Questions

I was sent an email from this man looking for info on a Massey Harris Pony If it works I will try to copy and paste his note, here goes.

I have, through great good fortune, come into possession of a 1950 M-H Pony and four implements all. They were purchased from the widow of the original owner, Mr. J.A. Hendry of Perth, Ontario, Canada who purchased them from Carson's Farm Supply also of Perth, Ontario. It is my intention to restore all, to the extent possible, to as new condition. I am encountering challenges in determining proper paint colours for the implements. The implements include #40 cultivator, #40 disk harrow and #40 sickle bar mower. I also have what I believe is a #801 plow. The cultivator has distinct hints of green (main frame), red (gangs) and yellow (tines). The disk harrow is completely devoid of colour. The plow has several blue spots of paint on the beam. The mower has what appears to be a very dark blue, possibly an artifact of original black, on the swath board. The only advice I am getting so far is that M-H implements were red and yellow. I went through every implement post on your site and did find a some green machines and a hay implement attached to a 800 hundred series Pony that was a blue consistent with what I am seeing on my plow. I need to find an authoritative source. Can you help?

Dennis from Madoc, Ontario

Thanks,
