Hi Charles,

What kind of parts are you looking for? Is your tractor complete? What is the Serial Number and width? What part of the world are you located? Do you have any pictures of your tractor you can post on here? There are some things available for these old girls but the overhead valve engine is a bit more harder to find parts for.

Hi Charles,

You may have to do some improvising on your project as sleeves are almost impossible to find. You can use sleeves from a MH 444 and cut the bottom two inches off them and about .005 inches off the top lip to get them to drop in the hole and machine the outside of the sleeve to the specs of the old sleeve and it should work. As for the rings you can get them cheap as they should fit from an Allis WD 45 if I remember right. As for the Valves they are the same valves used in the flathead OOC engine and the six cylinder JXD engines or a John Deere 35 Combine engine. There are some still floating around out there. You may end up making valve guides if yours are missing or possibly just knurl yours to tighten them up or bore them out and sleeve them with brass stock. You may have to hunt for valve springs or most machine shops should be able to order some if you have a pattern spring.

Have I seen a picture of this tractor before? For some reason that Serial number rings a bell. Are you the Charles Hughes from Amery, WI

Joe
