Racine MH Plant

A good friend of mind has graciously allowed me to share some of his pictures that are in his collection.  I have scanned them in and will be posting some as I recieve more.  The first pics, as we understands it, were taken in the loading area of the Racine plant as items were being prepared for shipment.  The pics show the #6A corn binder with items detailed by Massey as reference points (for some reason).  These were taken for MH and came from within the plant.

I thought you might enjoy some of the things sitting in the background.  Who can identify what!?!?!?

Enjoy!!

Gary

PS I am looking for a seat spring for my corn binder as illustrated in the pics!!!!

RE:Racine MH Plant

Hi Graham,

I borrowed these from a guy who lives near Racine.  He has others I hope to borrow in February.  Hopefully, he will remember to bring them to me and I can scan them in.

I agree with you that it is probably a 25 but I have never seen a 25 shine like that one!!!  It almost looks like it has been plated!! What we would give to find one of those in that condition today!!!

And I agree, I am sure most of these pics came from the advertising department. Although, the water jug pic might not be the actual one used in the advertising, it had to be taken at the same time!!

Did I understand you might have been involved (on the outskirts) of the Wallis K debacle in Nebraska!!  We will have to talk off line about that one!!!!

Glad you enjoyed the pics, hopefully there will be more to come.

Gary

Gary,

Is this current round of photos the same as the "collection" you said you had aquired some months ago or a separate batch.  Hope it's the latter then we can look forward to lots more!!

RE:Racine MH Plant

Hi John,

These are some of the pictures from the collection I referred to this summer.  I had hoped to get some more at the Baraboo Show but we missed each other.  I will see they guy again in February and I talk to him before hand to make sure he brings more!!

Don't know whether they are worth sharing but I put them up!!

Also check out the post I made about MH Factories.  I don't think everything is there or complete.  You will be the best to validate the information.

Thanks

Gary
