Hi Alan and all,
As Tom mentioned we will be giving the lapel pins to everyone attending the banquet. However, they will also be for sale to those not attending the banquet for $3.00 each.
Of course we will also have t-shirts available for those wishing to remember the show. They feature the our IMCA President's GP sitting in front of a covered bridge and round barn, both actual structures of the Rush County, Indiana landscape!! They look exceptional!!
Also attached is a pic of the very nice limited edition numbered belt buckle presenting a Wallis and 1100 series tractor with the four Massey logos on the bottom. Each buckle will be identified on the back with its number, show sponsors and date. There are 150 buckles that will be available to the public. If individuals want a specific numbered buckle we will reserve that number for that individual. The buckles will sell for $20.00 each. I know several numbers have already been reserved like #1-6. Also 11, 16, 21, 22, 23, 30, 33, 44, 55, 101, and 150. (Can you think of anyone who might want the #2 or #3 !?!?! See below)
Buckles #1 through #5 will be sold during the banquet/auction. They will have a little extra special item added to them!! We are having a second set of buckles numbered 1 through 5 that will be gold plated. Both the pewter and gold plated #1 buckles will be sold as a set as will #2 through #5. So you will have two buckles with matching numbers when you are the high bidder!!
If you can not be at the auction I will happily take your bid and represent you at the auction!!
Some other special items that will be auctioned on Saturday evening will include a large 2 ft x 8 ft banner we will be using to announce the show. I will post a picture of it as well. We only made one of these banners and it will look great in your Massey Room or barn. (The banner pic is a .pdf file so just click on the title and it will open the file)
The prize of the night will be the beautiful quilt that Clara Kline and Sandy Miller created for the National Show. You have seen the quilt on this web site and at various shows this past year. The proceeds of the quilt will go directly to the support and maintenance of the MCA web site.
I know we will have lots of other goodies there for all to bid on, but again, if you can not be at the auction just let me know via an email ( masseyh@aol.com ) and I will be happy to help you bring some of these great items home!!
Let me know what you want Alan and I will make sure you get it! ;>)
Hope this helps everyone a little,
Gary
