Dakota,
Here is a photo of my 55 Riceland diesel together with a close up shot of the high arch front axle. I purchased this from a dealer in Connecticut on the basis of a telephone conversation and him giving me a running commentary on the condition of the tractor as he walked round it. He turned out to be an exceptionally honest guy.
All that I have done to it is to re-line the brakes, renew the heater plug and re-do the wiring. It is a very good starter even down to near freezing. I also added a small step to the rear platform as it is one heck of a stretch up to the platform - a real trouser splitter - and I am a 6 footer! It is still starting on the pair of large 6V batteries that came with it.
It's the biggest and heaviest of the M-H tractors except for the 555s which are slightly heavier - not something that I can carry on my Land Rover and trailer - it takes me over weight.
