Too cold for starting tractors not to mention their burried in the shed but it is that time of year to get the Whizzers out and ready for the Whiz-N-Day on February 9th!!

Here is my brogher Dan on his 300S catching air!! Just a bit more speed and I think he would have cleared the whole house......

RE:Catching Air!!!!!

Now then Joe!   This is very seriouis talk.

Are you saying that it's too cold for YOU to start tractors, or that Wallis and Masseys will not start in the cold??!!  I hope it is the former???????????

Have a great New Year all you folks over there.  Rejoice with your snow and commiserate with us for whom it has now been officially confirmed that we have had the wettest year on record

John

RE:Catching Air!!!!!

Joe,

Are you coaching and preparing "The Minnesota MCA Ski Whiz Stunt Team" for the big event in February????

Malcolm.

RE:Catching Air!!!!!

John:

Congratulations on being the first one to make it to 200 on the top contributers!!! Malcolm is right behind you by only one or two steps!!!! Thank you both for all your imput and enthusiasm it is very inspiring.

Getting ready for Whiz-N-Day the other day I took a 500sst out of the barn and pulled the choke and gave it only one pull and it started and ran!! This sled has been sitting since last year. I have never had this happen in all my years of playing with the Whizzers. It really shocked me.

The weather here is so up and down it is unreal. It was 31 degrees F here this morning and it is projected to be -5 in the morning. I got a package this morning from the other side of the pond that will really help out with this problem!! A genuine Harry Ferguson coffee mug. I had to try it out to make sure it will work tomorrow when the cold snap gets here!!!

My neice Haley can't wait for Whiz-N-Day to get here, she had to try out her new Whiz-N Gear to make sure it will fit.. It will look great with her Ski Whiz helmet that she is so proud of.  Maybe with a little bit of coaching she will make "The Minnesota MCA Ski Whiz Stunt Team".

Joe

RE:Catching Air!!!!!

Haley looks like she is ready to go!

Ditto on the crazy weather.  I was sunny and up in the 40's down here today.  Would have been even nicer if we hadn't had 25+ mph winds all day.  Nonetheless, was able to get the necessary Massey's started and moved to get the sold 30 out and ready to travel.  I was actually impressed with how quickly the 44 Special Diesel started.

After the 40's today, tomorrow only in the 20's, then 0 - 5 degrees on Tuesday.   Might as well throw some freezing rain and snow in that mix to keep things interesting!

RE:Catching Air!!!!!

I didn't know those Whizzer had that much suspension to be jumping like that.  Are we going to see more pictures from the rest of the "stunt team" next month?

RE:Catching Air!!!!!

Drew:

Still working on the Stunt team but for now here is a picture I found of the Stun team. It would Stun you if you were laying out on the beach and a Ski Whiz drove by you and kicked up sand in your face...

This is an old original picture I have with wording from the Public Relations Dept. in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Snow here looks great so looking forward to riding this weekend at the Whiz-N-Day.

RE:Catching Air!!!!!

Great pic Joe!  But please whatever you do don't take a picture of any Massey guys on their ski whizzers at the beach!  I dont think this site could handle that. Please try to keep them on the snow with coats on. Unless of course you want to convince some college co-eds to pose and recreate this picture!

Have fun this weekend!

RE:Catching Air!!!!!

Gary:

I know your not big on snowmobiles but there was one here at the Whiz-N that I could see you and Ony adapting to.

What do you think of this??

RE:Catching Air!!!!!

Hi Joe!!

Ony says she likes it and she COULD adapt to it!!  That is always good words to hear!!  Definitely a neat looking piece.  If we had more snow I know one would be in our stable!

Looks like you had good weather for the Whiz-In.  I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and all played well together!!  We look forward to some pics of the weekend.

Thanks for sharing and thinking of us!!
