2016 Florida Flywheeler--Ferguson Tractor of Event

I visited the event two days. Survived the first day of rain and second of dust. One of the Kuhn family from Ill. brought some nice big tractors to show. There is a true Ferguson man driving the 1080.

RE:2016 Florida Flywheeler--Ferguson Tractor of Event

Good to hear from you Bob,
Sounds like you have had some moisture mixed in with your winter warmth down in Florida.
I can see your eye is now more focused on all era's of Massey collecting now, from the U frame Challenger through the Ferguson's to the M-F era, good to see some cast iron memorabilia mixed in there too, I am also pleased to see the Ferguson Brown celebrating it's 80th Anniversary year there in the USA, is it a local tractor??
Being a M-F man I am sure you went over those classic tractors with a fine tooth comb.

Hope you managed to secure a golf cart to get around the show??

Keep the photo's rolling.

Malcolm

Thanks Malcolm, glad to have your comments as always. Started a personal note to you some time ago, must finish it. Very mild winter in parts of USA and N. Ohio. Planting time soon-----also show season!!!! I don't know about that Ferguson Brown's location.

Carl from Frazesburg, Oh may know. He is the Ferguson collector on 1080 MF.

Why the bucket in pictures? Last part of monster drag line called Big Muskie from SE Ohio coal country. Could collect 325 tons of dirt at a time! 650,000 lbs of overburden in strip mine business. Ohio had big history with Marion Shovel and Bucyrus connections.

Malcolm, I will get some more cast, steel wheels, for your enjoyment when seen.
Golf cart? That's a no brainer for a corn fed boy!!

I forgot to commend the local MHF or Ferguson groups or individuals for all the effort in bringing equipment to "The Wheel" and having the nice display. Nice work!

I mentioned Marion Shovel. Ag connection? Sure when Huber tractor faded Mr. Huber invested and started Marion Shovel. They made the huge rocket  movers at Cape Kennedy or Canaveral.
