Most of you in N America will not be familiar with this French made MH tractor. It is an M-H diesel Pony vineyard tractor. I believe that one or two of the standard 820 diesels have got across the Atlantic to collectors in recent years but maybe not this diesel vineyard example?
It has a 2 cylinder Hanomag (German) diesel engine, but was also fitted with a petrol engine.. It has four forward gears and a reverse, a rear mounted pulley and a hydraulic lift. Specially designed for narrow orchard and vineyard crops. I think I am right in saying that N American Ponys were not made as vineyards? I have an earlier 812 vineyard with petrol engine. The tractor can be adjusted down to a minimum width of 98.5cm.
Time to look out for one!!
