RE:British Wallis
The British Wallis tractor was built only 35 miles from me in Lincoln by Ruston and Hornsby Limited who were well known manufacturers of steam and oil engines together with other farm machinery which they sent all over the world.

I have just added some items to my collection from the family of an old employee who worked in the tractor department at the time of The British Wallis being manufactured.

The well cared for and polished wooden box with the British Wallis tractor decal on the lid was used for keeping his draughtsmans tools all together on his desk.
Also inside was his Ruston Hornsby 25 years service pin badge and tool check used within the factory.

Malcolm.
