The other thread for family tractors still in existence has started well so being as I am not tied up with Ski Whizzing (!!!) this weekend I thought I would start my suggested other thread off.

This time I suggest that it is for tractors that our families owned once upon a time (and maybe combines and implements) but have now gone to the scrap man in the sky  but for which we still have photos and maybe a tale to tell about them.

I am kicking off with my grandfather's Massey-Harris 12-20 which you have seen before on another thread but it is just to hand and of the right size.  The photo was taken by the M-H company as my grandfather tested equipment for them as he farmed almost next door to the factory.  On the tractor is Tommy Moss and my father is operating the binder.  It was one of the first 12-20s sold into the UK and as you can see looks very new
