I went down to the shed this afternoon to look at the No 2 drawbars and platforms even tho' you have already had a response on this.
Interestingly, a point which I had not noted before, the hitch end of the drawbar on our "younger" No 2 has a swan neck whilst the "older" one is flat. I wonder does this tell us something? Also I thought my "younger" one was an inch shorter at 40 inches.
The boards for the platforms are quite simply the gross width of the channel iron chassis and the boards are bolted underneath on mine. I measured the length (i.e. back to front) at 34.5 inches but the difference is neither here nor there.- it simply goes more or less right up to the air cleaner.
