Wrong.....it will not remember you from day to day. I have never logged out and it still requires me to sign in each day.

The reason it hasn't remembered you for the past week is because I have been making changes which require the website to be restarted which in turn, causes the website to forget you.  These changes were unexpected and need to be made so I apoligize for the problems you are having.

The site has the remember me feature and it does work, but until I can finish working out a few bugs you may have to remember your username and password.

RE:Website Login and Access

I have never hit the sign out button and I have to sign in everytime I come to the site and it is the same way on both my computers.  KK

RE:Website Login and Access

I'm also having to resign in this morning . I don't log out. Earlier today my password was not correct, now it works just fine.  I tried several times to sign in with no luck.

RE:Website Login and Access

I want to thank all of you for your comments.  We all appreciate the feedback everyone is giving.  The web site designer and the committee needs your input.  Just keep in mind we are still in "test" mode.  As Brenden has mentioned, things still need to be changed, the system comes up and goes down, things are continuing to be updated.  We felt it was important to roll the web site out for this very much needed testing by all of you.

If you have noticed, there has been no big announcement that the site is back up.  You have either found it by going to the old site or from "word of mouth."

With your patience, input and advice this will be a very good site for quality information.   I guess if the systems only problem is that it forgets your password then we must be pretty close!!

I personally sign out everytime I finish just to force me to remember my username and password.  I do not trust ANY system left open to allow someone to roam around or to corrupt my personal system.  I don't want this or anything else to "Remember Me". (Trust in the computer world does not exist!!!)

Be patience and keep the positive suggestions coming.  Thanks for being an early adopter.  Continue to leave messages, new threads and pictures.  You are helping everyone coming behind you!!

If you do not want to leave your comments for the whole world to read, feel free to use the "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page to make other positive suggestions or concerns.

Thanks

RE:Website Login and Access

After several phone calls and emails with support we were able to track down and find there was a problem with some setup and were able to resolve the "Remember Me" feature.  If you experience any further problems, please don't hesitate to let us know.

RE:Website Login and Access

Thats alright by me the more I use my logon and password the more I am likely to remember it.  I think that a little time to relogon would be better than having the site hacked again.  the more we use it and make the members aware the larger the audience will be.  remember e-bay has billions to spend we do not.  very nice web site looking forward to everyone elses input.

RE:Website Login and Access

I finally got signed into the new website, All good things take time. As more and more people fiqure this out it should be very interesting. Good luck to all  users!

RE:Website Login and Access

I was able to get signed up today as well.  Roger is correct it will take a little time.  After you fill out the registration and verify your email address by clicking the link in the automatically generated email there is still another step.  It involves human intervention which is why it takes a bit longer.  Someone still has to verify you are a current member of either a state or the national MCA and your dues are up to date.  Only then will you receive the final “MCA approval” email.  Hopefully that is understood for a secure and successful site.

Also, if you use the forgotten password method and cut and paste the cryptic generated password make sure you do not include an extra space on the end.  Just double check the number of digits in the password matches the number of circles after you paste.
