Here are a couple more pictures I have that were taken at the proving grounds the first shows the rim extentions on the inside of the wheel and was taken 5/20/32 and the Second picture was taken 9/5/32 the GP is equiped with Grid Iron Grip Wheels and the long bar going to the center of the wheel is a Dynamometer to test  wheel tork to ground.

I have never come across a set of rims like this so it must not have been a great hit... I bet it really rode Smoooooth.....

You are right, there is more than I thought.  A broom?  using a GP to sweep the street?  a bit overkill don't you think?

Yes a power broom that runs off the PTO. This is what John's tractor would have looked like in it's glorry days. The front blade was designed to lift with rods and a rock shaft off the rear but John's has been converted to hydraulic cylinders with a cable lift. If you look between the wheels you can also see the heavy steel plating going down just like Johns.

Thanks for your notes on the differences between the Sv and OHV GPs - I'll use them in my article if you don't mind?

That shot of the mid belly section of a blue industrial GP I would wager is certainly mine simply because of the colour.  Mine did have that underframe on it too which I have now removed.

Blue body and silver wheels represented the team colours of the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club where the tractor spent its working life.  Where the silver paint is flaking off on mine it reveals the old burgandy colour of the original tractor showing it has been over painted for the club.

That brochure shot of the snow moving GP is interesting in that it appears to have wheel weights mounted on the cast steel centres.  That would have been a truly remarkable pushing beast!  That would not juts go up the sides of tractors but over the top of them!

Have you ever seen any reference to how many of each tread type of GP were made?

I always think of Joe when I look at the photograph of the GP on here, I can just picture him cultivating his corn crop with one of his GP's set up in this way, looks like they had wet weather to deal with in those days, no different now, just the machinery changed a little.

Nice Brochure!! I see we finally got Keith Oltrogge out of the woodwork on the post about the Billboard. Now if we can just get him to jump in on the thread about the GPs he could walk circles arround me with his vast colleciton of information.

I can't tell exactly what type of weights are on the Industrial GP but here is a set on the rear of an Overhead Valve tractor with # 32 on the side of the gas tank could this possibly be Serial # 303032 if so it is close in numbers with the other tractor I posted earlier.

Also Malcolm that tractor you posted with the Cultivator behind is a very special tractor as I am sure I showed you before, I will try to find some better close ups of it to further explain it if I get time But it is a Prototype of the Massey Harris GP.

In the mean time while I look for some pictures on the Prototype GP here are a couple Industrial GPs for you to Ponder on. I don't know if KO has any info on just how many of the different models were made but for now I don't have a clue. I do how ever have many pictures of the GPs and alot of serial numbers that I have collected over the years but my system of orginization is very poor so it is jotted on a piece of paper here and there and stacked to the ceiling......

This first picture was taken by David Parfitt and it is in France. It is of a Flat head Distillate tractor. The second picture I really don't know where it is at because I can't read the language

Maybe I am dumb, but how do you know those are industrial models vs standard?  Can you tell those have a 35" wheelbase vs the 43" from that angled picture or is there another clue?
