RE:M-H Barn Equipment.

Here is the next one the M-H "Cummings No 2" Feed Cutter, does anyone know anything about the name "Cummings" in Ontario?.
Is it another Company who was associated with M-H?

RE:M-H Barn Equipment.

Malcolm,

I had the same question when I purchased my straw chopper.  I can not find any connection with Massey Harris and the Cummings name.  Here is a pic of mine!

Let's hope someone in the future can enlighten us with the Cummings connection Gary.

For today here is the No 9 Straw or Feed Chopper, the unusual worm and gear drive for the feed rollers always intrigues me.

RE:M-H Barn Equipment.

Just taken a couple of pages from a 1911 M-H catalogue on the M-H No 9 and M-H Cummings No 2 Straw Cutters.
Interesting to note the power requirement of only 1.5HP to drive the Cummings.
