M-H purchased 40% of Verity shares in 1892 - 1 year after Massey merged with Harris. In doing this world marketing rights were acquired by M-H. The company merged with M-H as a subsidiary or affiliated firm. Verity were based in Exeter, Ontario. All on page 28 Masseylegacy Volume 1!! Verity were famous for their ploughs.
The photo shows a Verity spanner which I had in only yesterday. One I had been after for a long time. They usually make in excess of 100$ but I was lucky!!
