RE:Wallis Cub Photograph Dated 1912
Thanks Joe, sometimes the pictures tell a different story, maybe the J I Case print room staff of the day did not understand the tractors of their time on the production line. We experience just the same today with one trade not knowing what the other is doing.
Interesting your thought on the Ancona Motor Company and their marine connections, you never know.
I still think the photograph looks to be in more of a British environment, especially the driver of the tractor and backdrop scenery, but who knows it could be Kansas in disguise. I think the engine in the Sellers car is of a different design to the one in the Cub Junior?, could be another twist on the tale Joe and more detective work needed.
For today here is another Cub Junior brochure, again another of the popular small foldout type.
