RE:Models

Alan,

Per your request, here are some photos of the scratch-built Massey-Harris self-propelled corn picker.  It was built some years ago by a gentleman from Pennsylvania.  I don't know how many total he built, but it is certainly a "limited edition" of some sort.

Cheers,

JB

RE:Models

That same gentlman scratch-built the Massey-Harris mounted picker and then mounted it on a shelf-model Massey-Harris 44 Special.  Here are some photos of that toy.

RE:Models

They look great John. I take it they are made mostly of metal. Two great models to have in a collection. Alan

RE:Models

I am going to piggy-back on John's mounted Picker post.

The PA gentleman built severasl of the mounted pickers but it put them on a selve model  MH 44 tractor.  That always bothered me a little since it was a quality custom piece on a $18.00 tractor!  So I contacted him and asked if I could provide my own tractor! This is the same custom MH corn picker sitting over a Ertl Precision  MH 44 tractor.

Here are a few other pieces made by the person in PA.  All of his work was quality! I don't have many custom pieces but I am glad to have these in the collection.

MH Silage Blower wiwth extensions

Here is one more very bice custom piece. It is a MH #28 3 bottom plow on rubber w/steel tail wheel.  This is one of 4 of these plows made by cusstom builder Terry Rouch.  Very detailed!

RE:Models

Okay Alan, like Bush I will give you the opportunity to pick what you want to see.  Some are common some are not so...  I am still waiting on John's friend to build me some pretty cabinets but until then they are displayed where they are.  I keep my in their boxes (only because I don't have the space to store them too!

Tell me what you want to see!!

Gary,

Some nice looking customs you have there! Here is a pair I am quite fond of, not many of these in captivity and they aren't making any more as Teeswater toys no longer exists. Glad I got them when I did.

RE:Models

I have several Teswater pieces but none of those!! Nice!!!

RE:Models

Gary I am like a kid in a toy shop looking at all those models. I wouldn't know what one I would want. Probably all of them but it would be nice to see the #2 or any of the steel wheel tractors would be really good. Joe The Sawyer Massey set up looks very nice. What a great way to display them. On another subject. Do you know why my phone insists on putting the paragraphs all together. No one else seems to have this problem. Does it come down to the operator? Alan
