RE:Models

Two of the iconic Massey-Harris models of recent times were the M-H No.1 and No 3 produced for the MF 150th anniversary up in Canada in 1997.  It was a sadness that they were quite pricey and not of overly high quality - they are quite brittle and prone to fracture unless handled with great care.

RE:Models

This is a nice robust model of an MH 44.  There is no maker's mark on it but I am sure that you folks over the water will know.  It seems to be part of a tractor and implement series that I have picked up over the years.  I will post some of the implements in due course

RE:Models

Yes John, that is the early 4 bar MH 44 made by Lincoln out of Canada.  They made several variations with the rarest being the 444 with bronze motor.  I can run the series if folks want to see them?  In the company’s later years they purchased the rights to Reuhl toys and reproduced some more crude models of the Clipper PT combine.  Some are sold as Reuhl but they are easy to see the difference!

I will try to post when I get time!

Here's a MF 35x Multi Power. A bit modern I know. Certainly not as interesting as the M-H older models Alan

RE:Models

Alan,

I don't know why your paragraphs are all together, must have something to do with the position of the sun and the cosmic ions clashing in the outer circle of the nucleus positive protons coming from the inter galactical  fusion. but that is just a guess...I really don't know.

Here is a picture of a not often seen Mini Wallis. As you can see sitting next to the Brass 44 and Baraboo belt buckle it is quite small. I heard these were made but for many years could not find one but finally got this one a couple years ago but haven't seen another come up for sale yet.

It is only about an 1 1/2 " long x 1" wide.

RE:Models

Here are a couple old school Sawyer Massey models from Teeswater toys. As John said don't breathe or you will break them, you can see the hitch is broken off the yellow one and totally missing from the green one. I still like them as they look really cool behind a MH GP.
