RE:Posters again

Alan,

Currently I have no idea where either of them are or if they are still surviving, it would be rather nice to find them both.

I do know several British Wallis tractors were sold and worked in this part of Lincolnshire, recently an instruction book for one came to light in the Caistor area, I also have photo's of another pulling a binder near Alford. Just amazing how for some reason  they all seemed to vanish in their working life.

RE:Posters again

Here's another MF 60th anniversary poster given away at their 60th anniversary roadshows.  It does look a bit like it has landed from outer space?!

RE:Posters again

Whilst AGCO were busy celebrating the 60th anniversary of MF we here were busy celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first Massey Harris tractor with a celebration cake!

I still remain astonished and disappointed that so little was made of this auspicious occasion worldwide

RE:Posters again

Here is an early poster I have admired on my walls for many years now.

It's advertising the Sawyer -Massey gas tractors made in Hamilton Ontario, and the interesting part at the bottom is they were agents in Western Canada for the British built Marshall Colonial gas tractor made in Gainsborough England.

This poster was the first I ever knew of this global business relationship.

RE:Posters again

For today another very large poster from the early years of M-H tractor sales and their involvement in selling the Big Bull tractor during 1917 in Canada.
