RE:MH 44 crawler

I will have to look into it.  Please forgive my dumb question, but is that the same magazine that is called Legacy Quarterly? If it is, I have heard of them before.

RE:MH 44 crawler

Yes - come to think of it that is the proper name for it

All.
with reference to the MF crawler, these were made in Fabrico, Northern Italy by the Landini company, as they came off the production line they were painted either in blue if they were to be Landini or red if they were to be MF's. we were told that MF bought a 60% share in Landini, since reduced but I can't say by how much.

This Massey 25 crawler built by Roadless Traction Ltd is one I would very much like to have in the collection.

RE:MH 44 crawler

Interesting. I have never heard of these. I find it interesting they used a steering wheel instead of levers. Judging by the looks of it, looks like it was built between the 1920s - early 1930s.

Good to see you back on here Graham, hope you managed to get the last bit of harvest in the bin in Manitoba.

When you have found the Roadless Massey 25 crawler then you will want this one, the Roadless DG4 Halftrack to go with it.

RE:MH 44 crawler

Here is another very unusual crawler seen at the recent Spring Cheffins auction here in UK, it caught the eye of many M-F collectors.

Its a M-F 174 C converted to high clearance for use in extracting young trees with a root ball.

RE:MH 44 crawler

Very interesting. Servicing it would be no problem! Wonder if they had to do any modifications to the steering clutches?

Cheers,
