Massey Expo in Rushville IN

Here are a couple things you might want to know before arriving in Rushville.

#1 -  It was reported that Highway 44 between Shelbyville and Rushville. Would be closed for construction.  It is in fact open.  So if you are coming from the Indianapolis area or further south you can in fact travel to Rushville.

#2 - We have had some interesting treaffic on the gold belt buckles that will be auctioned off on Satuday evening.  If you can not attend but would like to place a bid for one just let me know. We will get someone to bid for you!! Or maybe you would like to bid on the huge AND beautiful quilt or the one-of-a-kind 8 foot banner announcing the show.  It not only looks nice but look great hanging in your garage, barn or museum!!  Let me know - we will help you out with the bidding!!

#3 - I put together a map to direct people from the show grounds to the banquet on Saturday evening  and suddenly realized that it will also help those coming through Rushville to get to the show grounds!!  Just reverse the instructions!!

Hopefully, you can see the map.

RE:Massey Expo in Rushville IN - Weather forecast

Well folks, it looks like the cooler than normal summertime temperatures here in Central Indiana are going to remain during the Massey Expo.  That is a good thing!  There are also chances of some rain each day.  At least according to the latest "best guess" of the forecasters at weather.com...  Here's what they are showing this morning:

MENA Show Weather Forecast
High (F) Low (F) Conditions Chance of rain
Wednesday 79 58 Partly Cloudy 0%
Thursday 80 58 Isolated T-storms 30%
Friday 79 56 Isolated T-storms 30%
Saturday 79 58 Scattered T-storms 40%
Sunday 79 56 Partly Cloudy 10%

So, be they "isolated" or "scattered" T-storms, if that forecast holds true we will likely get some rain each of those days, but certainly not an all-day rain sort of thing.

Looking forward to seeing all of you in Rushville in a few days!!

- JB

RE:Massey Expo in Rushville IN

Well, we hauled a couple of loads in on Sunday.  16 tractors in all.  We even had a few small people thinking they were helping out.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the event!

RE:Massey Expo in Rushville IN

A big thank you to the Indiana Massey committee members for a great show! Also to the local AGCO dealers for providing the Thursday and Friday night meals. It just goes to show that "Old Masseys collect the nicest people". And many were at Rushville, Indiana!

RE:Massey Expo in Rushville IN

Thanks Mike.

As you know first hand from having done it, it is a lot of work.  But after it all comes off well, it is a pretty good feeling.

Thanks again to all of you who came to Rushville for the Expo, brought your Massey stuff, and made the show a success.

JB

Did everyone forget to take their camera's to Rushville??

I thought the 2014 Expo would be well detailed by now, so to get the ball rolling here are a few for those people to enjoy who could not make it to Indiana.

I will let the photo's tell the story!!!

RE:Massey Expo in Rushville IN

A great display of steel wheeled tractors at the entrance to this years Expo, you have to go a long way to see a 33, 44 and 55 standing together on steel, great thinking to get them together.
