101 Super Travels!!

Well Ony and I made a little trip out west and something followed us home.  This tractor came from the late Earl Resner in Grand Junction, Colorado.  Knowing who restored the tractor made it worth the trip!!   Here are a few pics of it finding its way to Indiana.

The first pic is at its last home with the western side of the Book Cliffs and Rocky Mountains in the background.

The second pic is halfway up the western side near Eagle.

The third pic is near Vail Pass

The fourth pic is not good but is in front of Lake Dillon on the Eastern side of the mountains.

The fifth pic is in the tall prairie grasses of western Kansas

The sixth pic is in the Flint Hills of eastern Kansas.

And the last pic is the scene view in our backyard!!

Great trip, great sights, great friends, great tractor!!

RE:101 Super Travels!!

Nice tractor with even better scenery Gary!  Is this 101 going to make a showing at the Massey plow days? Would be a great workout.

The 101 super is one of my favorite tractors. Maybe just as much as the Wallis K.

Thanks Tom,

I am seriously thinking about taking it over.  I first plan was to take the 333 with 3 pt 2 btm.  We will see!!  I need to take some pics of the motor; that is the amazing part of the tractor.  (It sounds good, too!!)

You can't beat the sound of a Chrysler strait 6! The more pictures the better!

Gary,

What a nice tractor and some lovely photos of the scenery on your way home. Thanks for sharing them.

Are you going to plow with her ? I guess she would pull a three bottom plow wouldn't she?

RE:101 Super Travels!!

Very nice looking tractor Gary, very well restored, from your pictures you had a very pleasant drive in the fall sunshine with some great scenery.

Hope your going to get it hitched up to a M-H plough and get the tyres dirty this coming weekend at your Plough Day.

Malcolm.
