Front wheels

This 44 I am working on has worn wheel bolt holes in the front wheels. Someone must have left the front wheel bolts get loose and the holes are egged out. Does anyone know if there is some kind of conical washer that would fit the old bolts but be inlarged to fit the bigger holes in the wheels?

RE:Front wheels

If I had that problem, I would just replace the front wheels. I doubt that you would ever get them to run straight or stay tight.

Dan,

I found a "V" shaped, counter sunk, lock washer that I used on some rims like you are describing. They work with no problems (yet).  McMaster-Carr has them that look the same as I used and they weren't expensive.  Go to their site, click on washers and then "V" shaped.
