Maintenance log book

I have had this lucky find of a MAINTENANCE LOG BOOK for an M-H 744D tractor.  I've never seen one before and believe that it is now very rare.  Did you have the same sort of thing for the 44s in N America?

This is hard back and measures 9.5 x 7.25 inches.  It is about 5/8 inches thick and has 70 sheets in it - all unused.

Amazingly it was found on a farm in Portugal!

RE:Maintenance log book

Neat piece of history!  Never seen anything like that in the states.  My dad ran a farm tractor and machinery shop in the 50's and early 60's.  If the local farmers had and followed one of those for all the tractors, he would have been out of business.  (ha)

Interesting find!  I have never seen anything like it.  Entertaining graphics!  I wonder how many of those ever actually got used, and marked for the daily checks??

RE:Maintenance log book

Another very nice recent find John, usually good luck comes in three's, so now I am wondering what your third find will be???

Here is a double sided announcement brochure of the new 744 tractor which has been in my files for a long time, showing the Manchester names and no mention of Kilmarnock.
Zoom in on the photo and notice the British cast iron rear wheels.

Malcolm.
