I went to look at some parts Yesterday that were for sale for a friend and found a 44 rc with some strange clutch linkage parts.  The same parts are 
also on my 44d1wh, but both tractors have some parts missing as best as I can tell.  The 44 rc has a latch that goes to the rear underside of the left foot board.  My wide 44 didn’t have this part.  Some pictures

Not many of these in captivity, did any of the tractors have 3 point on them? This spring trip was set up for stopping the tractor when hitting a large rock when pulling a plow. Most of the #37s had a cable that ran up to the tractor and hooked to this trip so when the plow hit a rock or root it would pull the cable and disengage the clutch so the tractor would stop. I have one on a MH44 that I have in the back yard, never seen one completely hooked up with the plow but there must be some out there. I know I have some ligature on it somewhere but don't know where to begin to dig for it.

If you have the Parts Manual for the No.37 Plow it shows very good pictures of the Safety Release and Ignition Cut Off that was optional on the 37 Plow.  If you don't have the Parts Manual I can scan the pages pertaining to this and attach here.

Thanks for the responses, one tractor had 3pt, the other was on my 44d1wh with no 3pt, looks to me somewhere along the wide axles life it got a foot clutch and a custom linkage was built for the hand clutch to over ride the foot clutch...a mystery finally solved.

more pictures and images would be wonderful.

anyone have a 44 hand clutch bellhousing etc?

My 33 had the option with the electric shut off . Was bought new with the Massey 37plow and electric shut off .I started to restore the plow but never finished . I have a new wire harness for the plow if anyone is interested .Also  2 and 3 bottom 37 plows .
