tidy up

We are having a fantastic spell of dry and hot weather.  The sheep which graze my land for 11 months of the year are all at home lambing.  So time to tidy up after them.  They are fed big bales of silage towards the end of winter and these leave a compacted mess on the ground and the grass killed out.  So after they have gone home I break the land up with a Ferguson tiller, chain harrow it to make a bit of s seed bed then broadcast on some new grass and clover seed.  Now we wait for some rain to germinate it.  My son was over at the time and he took a few action shots of me with the MF 165 and tiller.

RE:tidy up

Looks like you had fun John, if I lived closer I would've joined you. Sure some nice countryside you live in.

Cheers,
